English Professor
I have taught English in Italy at various levels and at different institutions including: the University of Parma, the University of Modena & Reggio Emilia, The Popular University of Parma, The European School in Parma, and The Liceo Marconi in Parma. I am an English native speaker and also fluent in Italian and can therefore help my students to learn in the best possible way.
2016- Present
Freelance Editor
I have edited various English language texts. I worked for Cactus Editing Services and Publication Support where I edited, proofed and formatted hundreds of texts, including many scientific journal articles which then went on to be published. I also taught a Successful Publishing Course at the University of Parma to help researchers improve their chances of publishing their work.
2010-Present
Freelance Translator
I have translated books, chapters, articles, blog posts and websites for many different clients. I am currently working for the SIPRE (Italian Society of Relationship Psychoanalysis) where I translate scientific psychoanalytic journal articles.
2018 and 2019
Professor of Health Psychology
I taught Health Psychology in English at the San Raffaele University in Milan. The course was entirely in English and focused on doctor-patient communication in the medical field.
2017-2021
IGCSE Biology and Geography expert
I taught Biology and Geography in English at the Liceo Marconi in Parma for the Cambridge IGCSE Curriculum. Many of our students achieved A * grades and the course was very hands on with fun experiments and fieldtrips carried out in class.
2015-2016
Assistant Researcher and Assistant Psychologist
I worked as an Assistant Researcher and Psychologist in the Gynecology and Oncology ward of the San Raffaele Hospital in Milan and also worked for a year at the SERT (Public Substance Abuse Clinic) in La Spezia, Italy.
